  • About The Artist Was born in Tel Aviv, 1966. She lives and works in Jerusalem. She has studied art at "Bezalel Academy of Art and Design," Jerusalem, design and puppetry at "The School of Visual Theater", Jerusalem, puppetry and acting at "Ernest Busch Hochschule für Schauspielkunst," Berlin, Hebrew-Arabic poetry writing and translation workshop, "Helicon – Society for the Advancement of Poetry in Israel," Tel Aviv. When she was living in Berlin, 1992-2003, she has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and culture centers at several cities in Germany. Since she returned to Israel she has been exhibiting in group exhibitions, among them Minotaur Gallery, Tel Aviv, Petach Tikva Museum of Art, and The Israel Museum, Jerusalem, as well as solo exhibitions: "Babuschka – Endless," City Museum, Munich, 2007, and "MYTHOGRAPHICS," Kayama Gallery, Tel Aviv-Jaffa, 2012. A book of poetry she has written, Shirei Sara (The Poems of Sara), with eleven drawings of her, was published by Hakibbutz Hameuchad and Yavneh Publishing, Tel Aviv, 2004. Her works have been purchased by private collections in Israel and abroad and by The Israel Museum.
    "By the pencil & ink line, drawn on paper, I take it upon myself to trace, sometimes in a most detailed manner, the voyage of the image in local and imagined environments, crossing political, human and intimate boundaries, in spite of the violence and arbitrariness gnawing at us today."
